INDEPENDENCE, KAN.—Connors Cowgirls took 12-1 and 13-5 decisions over Independence (Kan.) Community College to go to 19-6 on the season.
Mikey Nelson homered twice in tame one with Jessica Collins and Deven Hale hitting single shots.  Kenzie Mathis was 4-for-4 at the plate.
 In game two, Nicki Freeman and Toni Weese each homered. Reagan Swink went 3-for-5.
