WARNER –Connors State Cowgirls open play in the NJCAA Region II Softball Tournament at Midwest City on Friday. The Tournament is double elimination.
The Cowgirls (33-14) will play Rose State (18-31) at 4 p.m. on the Raiders home field, site of the eight team tournament.
Other first round games will have Northern Oklahoma-Enid (31-22) playing Carl Albert (30-19) at 10 a.m. to open the tournament followed by Northeastern A&M (38-14) taking on Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa at noon and top seed Seminole State (42-5) battling at Eastern State 2 p.m.
A Cowgirls win over Rose State will send them into the winners' bracket at 10 a.m. Saturday against the winner of NEO and NOC-Tonkawa. A loss on Friday CSC will fall into the losers' bracket at 8 p.m. Friday against the loser of NEO and NOC-Tonkawa.s
