WARNER---Connors State catcher Braxten Frazier has been named the Region II Division I Softball Player of the Week for her play Feb.10-16.

"Braxten had a phenomenal week for us," said Coach Bryan Howard. "She has been the constant for this team so far. Her ability to adjust at the plate has been huge for us.

"Also her command behind the plate as our catcher has made our defense much better," said Howard.

The sophomore from Asher hit for a batting average of .875 in two games against 17^th-ranked Crowder College.

She had three RBIs and two doubles against Crowder.
