Both had 10 points in the first half and the Cowboys rallied from 35-29 deficite at the half to win on the Road on Monday Night inside Beams Fieldhouse against Murray State College. The two had 23 of Connors' first-half points.
Murray State had a last-second shot off an inbounds pass miss the mark, and the cowboys survived on the Road for a crucial OCAC Road Win. The Cowboys led by as many as six in the second half with about 1 minute remaining in the game.
The cowboys were in deep foul trouble on monday night, but severalm players stepped up when they needed to. Rounding out the scoring for the Cowboys were Donyae May, Bradyn Hubbard, and Jhamyl Fricas all had 6 points on the night. Xavier Brown finished with 4 points in the win.
The Cowboys are 21-4 and 8-4 and host Northern-Tonkawa on Thursday.
