Cowboys Show No Signs of Thanksgiving Layoff with 9th Straight Win

Warner- The Connors State Cowboys and Cowgirls made easy work of opponents Monday night as they rolled out the post-Thanksgiving portion of their schedule at Melvin Self Fieldhouse.

The Cowboys jumped out early and ended up with five players in double figures as they rolled past the Central Baptist University JV 105-40 to stay undefeated at 9-0 on the season. Steady sophomore Bradyn Hubbard again led Connor's scoring with 28 points followed by freshman Buddy Hammer from Westville with 23 points. Tulsa Memorial product Ty Frierson added 13 points followed by Kahmani Cooper with 12 and Tony Green Jr. with 10 as everyone who played got into the scoring column.

"Everyone got to play tonight and if you want to keep the players happy it's games like this where they get a chance to have some solid playing time," said Cowboy coach Bill Muse. "We've got a tough game coming up Saturday on the road in Texas and hopefully we can keep some of this momentum going."

The Cowboys will be on the road Saturday at Eastfield College in Mesquite, Texas with Tip-Off scheduled for 4:00pm
