
Tishomingo, OK- Holding a 10 point lead at the half, Connors pulled away in the second half for a 80-63 win over Murray State in OCAC action in Tishomingo on Saturday night.
Donyae May and Bradyn Hubbard started to take over the game with about 7 minutes remaining in the first half. The cowboys saw its largest lead of the game come in the second half with about 10 minutes to play.
"I thought we guarded a little better overall for the entire game and although the fouls were about even in the second half, we struggled to get into the Double Bonus for the entire game in both halves, which also made a difference," said Connors coach Bill Muse, his team 17-1 on the year.
Hubbard led the way with 24 points. Donyae May and Khamani Cooper had 17 points, Ty Frierson had 7 points. Antonio Green had 6. Buddy Hammer Jr had 5 points. While Percy Green and Dannon Lundy had 2 points each
Connors will host Redlands Community College on Monday Night inside Melvin Self Fieldhouse for the OCAC play. Tip Off is scheduled for 7:30pm
