
Oklahoma City- The Connors State College Cowboys went on the road to Mid-America Christian University on Wednesday Night and came away with a 102-66 win inside the Gaulke Activity Center.
The Cowboys were up 21 at the half 51-30. In the second half the cowboys largest lead was 39 before the final margin of 36. The Cowboys dominated the game from start to finish and lead for the full 40 minutes. Connors dominated the Boards all night long, getting offensive rebounds, and second chance points. The Cownboys dished out 23 assist on the night and really shared the ball on the offensive end.
The Cowboys had 4 players finish in double figures, lead by Freshman Guard DJ Dormu who finished with 30 points. Aric Walls and Jaylen Lee finished with 13 points. KJ Nichols finished with 12 points. Ethan Dietz and Edwin Daniel both had 8 points. Dashaun Spence had 7 Points. Jeremiah Johnson had 5 Points. Tito Ramos and Dayvantia Campbell had 3 Points off the Bench for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys shot 62 percent from the floor, and an impressive 53 percent from the Three Point Range.
The Cowboys are back in action on Monday Night inside Melvin Self Field-House to take on Allen Community College at 7:00pm. The win moves the Cowboys to 11-1 on the season heading into Monday Nights clash with the Red Devils.
