
Enid, Oklahoma- The Connors State College Cowboys went on the road to Northern Oklahoma College- Enid on Monday evening and came away with a 65-51 Road Victory inside the Mabee Center.
The Cowboys took Controle of the game early and never looked back. The Cowboys came away with a hard fought road victory in a crucial OCAC Matchup.
The Jets scored the opening basket of the game but the Cowboys answered with a 14-0 Run to force the Jets to use and early timeout. The Cowboys lead by as many as 16 Points in the Second Half. The closest that NOC- Enid would get the rest of the game was 11 with 5:00 minutes left in the game.
The Cowboys had four players finish in double figures, lead by Freshman Point Guard DJ Dormu who finished with 16 points. Edwin Daniel, Kevin Stubblefield Jr, and Jermiah Johnson all finished with 11 Points on the Night. Aric Walls had 9 points. Jaylen Lee had 4 points. Rounding out the Scoring for the Cowboys was Ethan diets who finished with 3 Points.
The Cowboys Shot 44 percent from field, and only 27 percent from the 3 point line.
The Cowboys out rebounded the Jets by 14 on the night with the final numbers being a 46-32 rebound advantage.
The Cowboys are back in action on Thursday Night at 7:30pm inside Melvin Self Fieldhouse for Sophomore Night to Take on Redlands Community College in the Final Home Game of the Season.
