WARNER, OK—Connors State Sophomore Edwin Daniel from Bronx, New York, Freshman Kevin Stubblefield Jr from Omaha, NE, and Head Coach Bill Muse have been named to the Region 2, Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference All Region Team, All Freshman Team, and Coach of the Year it was announced by a vote of the league coaches on Saturday Afternoon.
Cowboy Head Coach Bill Muse was voted the Coach of the Year for the 11th time in his career at Connors State. Coach Muse has won the award in Back to Back years after guiding the Cowboys to the OCAC Regular Season Championship, Region 2 Tournament Championship and advanced to the 2024 NJCAA National Tournament Final Four.
Cowboy Forward Edwin Daniel was voted to the 1st All-region Team by the Coaches on Saturday Afternoon after his outstanding performance during the Regular Season and in Conference Play. Hubbard averaged 13 points per game on the season. Daniel also averaged 12.1 rebounds on the season which is Number One Nationally. He was NJCAA National Player of the Week for February 10-16.
Stubblefield, who is the Cowboys' Wing, averaged 13.8 points on the season
He ranked number eight in three point percentage, and number Seventeen in assists in the OCAC Conference.
