Connors State College Athletic Department has named Bill Muse Jr., as assistant basketball coach. Muse Jr. enters his fourth season as assistant coach for the cowboys.

Muse Jr., who played two seasons for his father Bill Muse at CSC during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, helping the Cowboys win two Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships and an NJCAA Region II Championship in 2017 with an appearance in the 2017 NJCAA National Tournament, reaching the Sweet 16.

He was named an NJCAA First Team Academic All American in 2017.

Following his career at Connors, Muse Jr. played at Coastal Carolina University in 2018-19, his junior season then redshirted his senior season, graduating where he was named to the Sun Belt Conference First Team Commissioner list.

He then played at The University of Southern Mississippi as a graduate transfer where he recieved is Master's Degree in Sports Management in the Spring of 2022.

Muse Jr. is a graduate of Hilldale High School, where he scored 1,176 points and was a Verdigris Valley All-Conference selection and was named to the Muskogee Phoenix Newspaper All-Area Team.

In his second season as an Assistant Coach for the Cowboys, Muse Jr helped guide the Cowboys to the 2022 NJCAA National Tournament after winning the 2022 NJCAA Region 2 Tournament.

During his fourth season as an Assistant Coach for the Cowboys, Muse Jr helped guide the Cowboys to the 2024 Regular Season OCAC Championship, Region 2 Tournament Championship, and NJCAA National Tournament Final Four Appearance.
