  • 2021-22 COWGIRLS SCHEDULE RELEASED

    The Cowgirls Spring 2022 schedule is set. First pitch will be in Galveston, Texas versus Navarro College at 1:30pm. The team returns seven players from last years squad and added fourteen.
  • Cowgirls Softball Play Tough First Fall Outing

    The CSC Softball team traveled to Chickasha, Ok on Thursday to play USAO. For both teams it was the first Fall game and the Cowgirls and Drovers went at it for 13 innings. With a lot of young talent on the field the Cowgirls made some great plays. It was close throughout the contest. A lot of lessons were learned this week a they continue to improve. The Cowgirls continue the Fall season this Thursday September 16 at Home against Carl Albert. First pitch is set for 4pm.

    Cowgirls knocked in four runs in the sixth on its way to a 7-1 victory over Eastern Oklahoma State Mountaineers Varsity on Saturday. Cowgirls scored its runs on an RBI grand slam by Kyzia Whisenhunt. Cowgirls fired up the offense in the first inning, when Katy Medlin doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs. Cowgirls put up four runs in the sixth inning. Whisenhunt had an RBI grand slam in the inning to lead the run scoring. Medlin was in the circle for Cowgirls . The righty allowed five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out five. Jewell Henry was on the rubber for Eastern Oklahoma State Mountaineers Varsity. The southpaw allowed ten hits and six runs over five innings, striking out two and walking one. DD Guerrero threw one inning in relief. Cowgirls hit one home run on the day. Whisenhunt went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Cowgirls saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Kenna Wofford, Shy Shipman, Channon Rankin, and Whisenhunt all had multiple hits for Cowgirls . Whisenhunt, Rankin, Shipman, and Wofford each collected two hits to lead Cowgirls . Karli Ashing led Eastern Oklahoma State Mountaineers Varsity with two hits in three at bats. Cowgirls lose game two 9-5.
  • Cowgirls Grab Two Victories At Home. Kaylee Johnson came the ballpark and meant business on Thursday, driving in five on two hits to lead Cowgirls past NOC-Enid 11-3 on Thursday.

    In Game One Cowgirls Claim Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat NOC-Enid Cowgirls stole the lead late and defeated NOC-Enid 4-3 on Thursday. The game was tied at three with Cowgirls batting in the bottom of the fifth when Katy Medlin singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. In the second inning, NOC-Enid got their offense started. Ashleigh McCause grounded out, scoring one run. Medlin toed the rubber for Cowgirls . The righthander allowed eight hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out eight. Madison Gabeau was in the pitcher's circle for NOC-Enid. The pitcher surrendered four runs on 11 hits over six innings, walking zero. Cowgirls socked one home run on the day. Kenna Wofford had a homer in the fourth inning. Cowgirls tallied 11 hits. Shy Shipman, Kyzia Whisenhunt, Kaylee Johnson, and Medlin each racked up multiple hits for Cowgirls . Medlin, Johnson, Whisenhunt, and Shipman each collected two hits to lead Cowgirls . Cowgirls didn't commit a single error in the field. Wofford had seven chances in the field, the most on the team. NOC-Enid racked up eight hits. Slater Eck, Dru Bryant, and Macy Stockton all had multiple hits for NOC-Enid.In game two of of the day Johnson drove in runs on a home run in the third and a home run in the fourth. In the first inning, NOC-Enid got their offense started. Makenzie Richards singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Cowgirls took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Katy Medlin doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run and Johnson homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs. Mack Bechtold toed the rubber for Cowgirls . The pitcher surrendered three runs on five hits over five innings, striking out six and walking zero. Tori Mcnabb was on the rubber for NOC-Enid. The pitcher went two innings, allowing six runs on four hits, striking out one and walking zero. Kylee McDaniel and Ashleigh McCause entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one-third of an inning respectively. Cowgirls launched two home run on the day. Johnson had a four bagger in the third and fourth innings. Cowgirls racked up ten hits. Shy Shipman, Kyzia Whisenhunt, and Johnson all collected multiple hits for Cowgirls . Johnson, Whisenhunt, and Shipman each collected two hits to lead Cowgirls . NOC-Enid totaled five hits in the game. Alexis Enslinger and Richards each had multiple hits for NOC-Enid. NOC-Enid didn't commit a single error in the field. Megan Lee had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

    Late Score Costs Cowgirls Against NEO Cowgirls stayed in it until the end, but NEO pulled away late in a 3-2 victory on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with NEO batting in the bottom of the fifth when Hannah Burnett grounded out, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. NEO pitchers struck out four, while Cowgirls sat down six. In the first inning, Cowgirls got their offense started when Maddie Hedge singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run. In the bottom of the fourth inning, NEO tied things up at two when. Bre Brown was on the rubber for NEO. Brown allowed five hits and two runs over five innings, striking out three. Katy Medlin started the game for Cowgirls . The righthander surrendered three runs on three hits over six innings, striking out six. Medlin led Cowgirls with two hits in four at bats. Cowgirls was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Kenna Wofford made the most plays with seven. NEO didn't commit a single error in the field. #36 had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
